Natsuki looked on as her Piplup was knocked down, silent in her self composure.

"Electric or Fighting." She said simply as her Piplup stood up bruised and battered.

"Mud Slap." She said with an air of command.

Her Piplup began to spin, becoming a blur that swiftly hurled globs of mud at it's opponent.

Her Piplup was pushed over lightly, only causing five HP damage.

"Speed means nothing unless you have power to back it up." She said in a rather icy a-tonal voice.

"And if you are unable to obtain a good speed, it's best to work on your defense, since there will be others faster than you. In that case, they can strike first and you can strike the hardest."

Her Piplup picked itself up again, rather weary.

"Facade." She said calmly.

Natsuki's Piplup was swaying, barely hanging on with 5 HP left

Her air of calmness did not waver as she answered: "Water. Becomes Water and Steel after full evolution"

Her Piplup then pulled together it's strength, it's eyes burning with passion.

"Piplup..." Natsuki said.

If was the first time in the battle that she had addressed it by name.

"You'll need another name after this."

There was a moment of silence, before she said. "Headbutt"

With the last of it's energy, Piplup charged towards it's opponent, determined to win.
